Myka turned six on July 20th! She had a perfect birthday day with presents, a trip to the mall for pierced ears (she chose ruby studs- July's birthstone), her Auntie Melodee took her to see Up, and then we ate out at Red Robin! So fun! (Now to plan the birthday luau she asked for, hmmm...wishing I had thought that one through before promising it to her...)

What a beauty! This is my mother's mother, Carol Lambert. Isn't she lovely? This photo was taken when she was a young woman at BYU in Provo, Utah. She isn't feeling all that well these days. Our family has been thinking of her and how much we love her. (Can you tell she was a dancer?)

Here is me and Meikel- my little cousin, like in 1998 up at Sundance. We are currently pregnant at the same time! Luke and Meikel's baby boy is due on Halloween. (Now to convince Aaron he really wants to move back to Utah, not forever pine away for California- then the babies could be best friends!)

My girlfriend and dance associate at the Y, Kelly, is getting married this August! She has found her match in Joshua Lynch and we are celebrating at my house on Friday with a shower. Happy!

Last Thursday, Haily and I picked up Aaron at work so we could attend Myka's kindergarten graduation party.



Myka graduated from Mrs. Hall's class where she has grown and learned so much.
