I have been listening to the London cast recorded soundtrack of Les Mis lately and am continually transported to another time and place as my mind engages and responds to the melodys, lyrics and message of this masterpiece of a musical. My parents took me and my best friend to see the show in 9th grade- after we had read Les Miserables by Victor Hugo. And now I have this little idea to take Aaron to see it- in London at the Queen's Theater where it runs ALL THE TIME! (Now, where did I put that spare $3,000...)

Here is my awesome scan job (I'm kidding) of the article I am in as part of an interview with my artist mentor/collaborator Michael Hoover. Cool! City Arts Magazine did a piece on three filmakers in the South Sound and Michael was generous enough to share my dance film, Risk in Expectation.
(www.,cityartsmagazine.com * side note-Risk is mislabeled as being by Michael, it is actaully my piece done under the production of MG&MH Arts).

front of house- with blossoms and cafe lights on the pear tree
this guy was a hit with aaron on his bday
haily expresses her emotions through her feet- this is 'angry-that-mom-put-her-hair-in-a-ponytail' crunch toes emotion
aaron said that if he were to fall off the roof while painting he would scream 'aaaaaas yooooou wiiiiiiish!' since it was me who decided we had to paint the house.
i made this for the girls' friend, lily, on her bday
and i made this dress for haily, although it also fits myka- so she wore it on sunday
