pnb nutcracker trip

It was really fun to see PNB's Nutcracker with our
darling Myka. Aaron took the day off, we had a
friend babysit Haily and we ventured up to Seattle.
What a cool city! And the ballet was top notch with
sets and costumes by Maurice Sendak- sooooo fun!

After the show we found "Zeek's Pizza" and had lunch.

Then I wanted a shot with Mom and Myka on the park bench
but Myka was 'done' for the afternoon, so Aaron did some improv
photography. (Yes, those are holiday toenails! Every girl needs
bright, red holiday toenails in December!)

wintertime girlies

Winter is in full swing here in Washington! Cold, wet and
windy! So we made sure our girlies would be happy and
warm in new winter coats! Here they are holding still for
Mom in the chilly weather by Capers in downtown Tacoma.

youth temple trip

The day after Thanksgiving all our youth and leaders
drove to Seattle to attend the LDS Temple and participate
in proxy baptisms for the dead. Here is a shot of a laurel,
Felicity, who has not been baptised yet, so she and I hung
out around the temple grounds and at the nearby DQ. She
is a lovely girl who I enjoyed my time with very much.

The girls were a little snap happy with my camera...
aren't they cute? These two are Shelby and Dana.

And here is Felicity with our Mia Maid, Johanna. It was
fun to laugh and talk with these girls all together in Kate's
fancy Mitsubishi Montero.

in the meantime...

This babelicious bunch of beauties are my Tacoma Girls of the
Highland Hills ward- Zetta, Dana, Catharine, Felicity, Netta,
Shelby and Johanna- missing Lisa, Colleen and Cori. A week ago
we celebrated their Night of Excellence where I showed a film all
about them! Each girl was spotlighted and interviewed and then
it was all set to their favorite songs. (I did the same thing with my
Provo girls last year and now both times Aaron, Myka and Haily J.
have been patient and helpful while I run around to film and
then spend late hours putting it all together!) And that is what
has occupied my every moment for about two weeks, leaving me
no energy to even check email!

But in the meantime...

My little Myka girl has figured out how to use the camera ...

Uncle Jeff has patiently sat through many a makeover
courtesy of Haily Jane's Boutique...

And Haily Jane (or Janey as I have always wanted to called her)
has begun painting with my watercolors...

Oh my beauty girl! Those cheeks are so great!
Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!
