Myka is getting baptized on Saturday.  All family and friends are welcome.  We are happy that she is learning and growing, especially at this unique time where she can recognize her spiritual side and commit to the covenant of baptism. 

(side note:  there is the baptism dress I pieced together from lace and slips.  It was a chore and a half for me- the undomestic goddess.  None the less, Myka looks lovely in it for her special day!) 

eight years ago...

...my little first baby was born!  Oh how my world was turned upside down- in a good way.  Myka was such a sweet and darling baby.  This image is from a video camera, so it's not the best, but just look at her little self!  Love!

noncampers

Not that we wouldn't like to be good at camping- we just haven't ever made a point of becoming so. 

Myka requested a camping trip and so we made it happen.  And I won't bore you with the details- but Mom, Haily and Josy went home after the first night, leaving Myka and her Dad to brave it on their own the second night... 

The important thing is that the kids had fun and met friends and so...that is that!

fluffy dresses or flowy skirts for your little girl(s) to wear.  And just see what happens...
