science fair!

Miss Myka and her Dad worked for about a week together being scientists and figuring out her project for the science fair.  They used big magnets, sand and water and discovered that there is definitely a magnetic effect on sand during the process of erosion.  (I think that is right... heh heh)  And Myka got three ribbons!  Heehoo!

Here is my brave six year old who let me pull out both of her top teeth!  And tonight's the night for the toothfairy...Haily asked me if the toothfairy is really just mom and dad...and I said, 'Of course not!'

I love how I thought I had read all of Dickens' great works.  Nope.  I had never even heard of Bleak House!
And I really liked this BBC adaptation that came onto my Netflix 'shows you might also like' menu.  Now to go read the book..., cause you know, 'The book is waaayyy better than the movie' -Jim Gaffagan.
