Sunburst, Sweetheart, Pretty Girl, My Beauty, Little One- these are all things we like to call Haily. She is our wonderful girl and today is her fifth birthday! We took cupcakes to preschool, our front room is full of pink and white balloons and we are planning a big, friend party that will rock our house...

8th & 9th grade cheer

UH OH! My Dad is organizing my parent's lifetime of family pictures and so I am receiving gems like these in the mail. (Thank you Dad). I cheered for three years for three different schools. I will now have to find a 10th grade pic to post. And I will also now have to go tanning because I forgot how legs look better tan all the way to the top- and not just from the knee cap down. (Anyone glad the geiser bang never quite came back in? Oh brother!)

perks

Working at the Y has its perks. We spent about two hours playing around in the group exercise/dance room last Friday. Needless to say, the girls love this room and want to come with me whenever I teach so they can play on the moon balls.

baby&mamma

So I don't get full nights of sleep, my clothing has spit up on it at all times, and my stomach probably won't ever be completely flat again...I don't care, I AM IN LOVE WITH MY BABY JOSY! What a priviledge and an ultimate joy to have this little child in my life. I cannot think of one, single, greater thing that I could accomplish or accumulate in my life that would compare to the experience of helping to create and love this beautiful baby. LOVE!

paris to rome and back

Romance month! I have been daydreaming about our trip to Europe we took before Myka was born. Sigh! It was so wonderful...

One day we were eating lunch in Rome on a bench under a tree... and as we were relaxing an elderly Italian couple walked slowly past. He was dressed in trousers and a suit coat with a gentlman's hat; she was in a dress and carried a little purse with gloves. They talked with each other as they strolled by.

And I thought then as I do now- I hope Aaron and I will grow old together and always find time to stroll and talk- enjoying and loving one another's company. Happy Love Month to all.

Attention all Dance Film Artists!

The Barefoot Collective wants dance film submissions to be presented March 1st, 2010
at the the Merlino Arts Center as part of tBFC's Annual Dance Film Night.

This is an open call for anyone to submit their dance film!

-No longer than 20 mintues
-DVD format
-Please include a brief artist bio and contact info, including email address & phone
-To have dvd returned, send self addressed stamped envelope
